Any word on Meredith???

I think she was up yesterday. Has anyone heard anything???

I believe her surgery is tomorrow!!! She came to our Christmas party meet up Tuesday in Jacksonville and was drinking her yummy Optifast!! LOL But I think she said, friday!!

I was in touch with her today and this is what she had to say;

Thanks!  Yes, nervous, anxious, etc.  I got my surgery time today.  My check in time at the hospital is 11:00 am.  That's good news and bad news.  The good news is that I don't have to get up before the crack of dawn to do get ready and then drive to Greenville.  The bad news is that I can't eat or drink ANYTHING after midnight tonight and that's a LONG time to go without any water or anything!!

Yep, here I am.  Surgery is tomorrow (Friday).  My check-in time is 11:00, but Dr. Chapman's office said to check in at 10:00.  I'm very anxious and hope they sedate me as soon as possible.  I'm having my Optifast right now.  I've been good and have lost even more weight.  I'm concerned about not getting to drink anything after midnight though.  Since my surgery is not early in the morning, I'll have to wait that much longer with nothing.  I'm so afraid I'm going to be miserably thirsty by the time I check in at Pitt Memorial!!!

My minister is dropping by in a few minutes to visit.  He's a really nice guy and was very comforting and reassuring when my dad died about a month ago.
